Changing the way we use the law w/ James Shaw: August 12, 2019

This week Green Party co-leader James Shaw talks to Jemima about three different developments that change the way New Zealand uses the law. Firstly they discuss the changes made to the Misuse of Drugs Act to give police the discretion to prosecute or seek rehabilitative care for drug users. Then they talk about the Abortion Legislation Bill passing its first reading. Finally, they discuss the recent announcement to use the law currently in place to minimise waste through regulated product stewardship.
