Auckland Live's Summer in the Square

Summer in the Square is back to fill your season with a little bit of everything good. It's the big free party in Auckland's backyard. Big? Free? Right in Aotea Square? Exactly. So, you have absolutely no excuse not to come and have a great time with the best Tāmaki Makaurau has to offer.

So what's coming up then? Well, there's something called 'Reggaeton Class' as part of the Latin Fiesta (Jan 12-14) for all you Despacito fans. For the Classical Weekend (Jan 19-21) you can get a tour of Auckland's most impressive organ. Greg Malcolm and Jenny Ward are playing Ivor Cutler songs on the 24th as part of Folk Week (Jan 22-24). And, if you missed her at Breakfast Club, Reb Fountain is playing the next day. Bloody SoccerPractise are playing February 2nd. Summer in the Square knows what's up!

On top of that, you can go see a bunch of funky smooth bFM DJs doing their DJ thing! Including Sam Harmony on Jan 10th, Stinky Jim on the 31st, and Murray Cammick Feb 1st. And I mean, January 17th has Pennie Black playing something called 'Goths at the Beach'. Unmissable.

Basically, loads of good stuff is happening and you ought to go. For the full list of what's on head here.

And remember: keep sun safe. It's important.
