Aldous Harding to play Hollywood Cinema this weekend

We're excited to be presenting Aldous Harding at the Hollywood Cinema for two nights this weekend.

Friday, February 10 - with support from Bob Scott and Hera Lindsay Bird

Saturday, February 11 - with support from SoccerPractise, Oscar Dowling and Hera Lindsay Bird

Fearsome and formidable, Aldous Harding’s sinister torch songs, gentle laments and eerie odes will bewitch fans and first timers alike. Ahead of the release of her next record, Party, the Hollywood Cinema shows will feature Aldous leading a full band through new and old material. Both nights feature beer by Garage Project and special 35mm trailers, and shorts curated by Matthew Timpson. As well as food by Judge Bao on the Friday and Wise Boys Burgers on the Saturday, it's going to be special.

After the international success of her self-titled debut, Aldous Harding continues to ascend beyond fleeting trends. Delving into more timelessly resonant territories of human experience, Aldous has established a firm stance worldwide as a fearsome recording artist and performer. Her upcoming record, Party, produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, Perfume Genius, Sparklehorse), comprises a formidable clutch of songs that swell with the gothic energy of her former work, embalmed with a newly explorative slant.

And so this is the moment to see Aldous Harding’s Party performed live in New Zealand ahead of its release - with full band and some spectacular guests.
